tags » #Jack fucks me up man #when Burden broadcasted the anti-war message he just? up and abandoned his post in the army #like DESERTION IS ONE OF THE WORST THINGS YOU CAN DO AND HE DID IT BECAUSE OF SOMETHING BURDEN DIDN'T EVEN SAY DIRECTLY TO HIM #and all throughout chapter two he talks about how even though he just wants a peaceful life #Burden is drawn to war and revolution and Jack knows that and he'd follow him anyways #to the ends of the earth #he makes it very clear that he looks up to Burden as a hero and feels as if he owes Burden something for saving him but I feel like it's mor #e than that #because TBH I DON'T SEE HOW WHAT BURDEN DID IN CH 5 IS THAT AWE INSPIRING #LIKE OKAY IT WAS REALLY LUCKY THAT THEY SURVIVED but he didn't know what he was doing any more than the rest of them #I think Jack looks up to him because he carries himself a certain way #because Burden's very calm and quiet and he knows what to do; he's someone to come to for advice #and someone to keep a clear head when shit goes down AND THEY'VE BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH TOGETHER #and honestly Jack's such a genuinely good person and you can see that in how cheerful he is to do what Burden asks and how much he loves Mar #vin #and how when Burden's about to do the craziest suicidal stunt he's ever seen he doesn't try to stop him he asks to come with him #Life of Skyejackmaslow-blog reblogged this from feardubh-blog
